Fortnite is a battle royale game by Epic Games. It was released in 2017 and is now available on Android, Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Gameplay: The Winning One
Fortnite is a truly unique game. It has pretty standard core mechanics for a battle royale game but also has lots of new and unique features to offer. Like in many other battle royale games, in Fortnite you have to deploy on an island alongside with up to one hundred other players. You will have to find yourself guns and ammunition and become the last of the players to survive in this modified version of a free for all game mode. The unique features of Fortnite include building mechanics, global events, truly unique weapons, and skins, and many more.
Graphics: Chill Royale
Unlike most battle royale games, Fortnite is not serious and realistic at all. It has cartoony graphics, unreal animations, superhero skins, and many more. The graphics look attractive as the game has its style. The environment is densely filled with objects, most of which are destructible. The Optimization is also pretty good as the game properly runs even on mobile devices with an option to cross-play with other platforms. The skins are the only paid content in Fortnite, and watch out for your money: they are too attractive.
Controls: Not for Newbies
Controls in Fortnite are mostly typical for a third-person view shooter: you are able to move your character, aim and rotate the camera, switch between guns, and interact with objects. However, building mechanics make the controls pretty hard to master. Of course, you can easily make some simple constructions, but to remain truly competitive, you will have to learn how to create complicated forts of impressive heights in seconds.
