Call of Duty®: Mobile
Call of Duty®: Mobile review
Call of Duty: Mobile is a first-person shooter game developed and released by Activision. Unlike other parts of the CoD series, Call of Duty: Mobile is only available on mobile platforms.
Gameplay: Same Old Call of Duty
The gameplay process is based on the classic Call of Duty formula. It is an online first-person view shooter with core mechanics of classic CoD multiplayer. There are different game modes available. Playing them rewards gamers with profile experience, which unlocks new guns and modifications. There is team deathmatch, the frontline mode, domination, search and destroy, sniper only, gun game, and even a zombie game mode.
Moreover, there is a full battle royale mode available for free. It has a vast map and allows up to 100 players to meet on one game server. The developers are constantly bringing fresh content to the game as well: each month, there is a new season with new game modes, guns, or other major updates in Call of Duty: Mobile.
Graphics: One of the Best
In terms of graphics, Call of Duty: Mobile is truly impressive: the image is so realistic and detailed that you could easily think that those screenshots were taken on PC. So far, the game has one of the best visuals for the whole mobile platform. Surprisingly, the Optimization is more or less fine as well. There might be some casualties in quality for budget devices, but the game manages to run properly on most smartphones. The battle royale mode is even more impressive as it takes the players to a vast map filled with buildings and various objects.
Controls: Partially Great
As for the controls, they are great in all modes except for battle royale. They are very similar to other mobile shooters so that the experienced players will not have any trouble with aiming, shooting, and using utilities. However, the battle royale mode controls are not so clear:
- There are many buttons on the screen.
- The interface gets very overloaded.
- It takes much time to get used to playing this mode.
However, the controls are pretty customizable, and after getting to know the mode better, you can easily configure the buttons for yourself.
